Account Security
How Can I Keep My Account Safe?

The effort you’ve put into your game progress is something that’s worth protecting. Here are a few ways to make sure that your account remains in the right hands (yours!).
Connect Your Account to Supercell ID
Connecting your account to Supercell ID stops anyone from being able to log in to your account in any other way. Enabling Account Protection on your account will add an extra layer of security.
Remember, though, your Supercell ID is only as secure as the email you sign up with! For that reason, we recommend that you enable two-factor authentication (2FA) on your email account. We all make mistakes, and sometimes a weak password or a lapse in judgment results in someone accessing our email inbox. If you enable 2FA for your email account, you can keep control of it even if another person gains access.
Don’t Accept Offers of Free Items
You might have noticed folks talking about websites offering free Gems, Coins, Season Passes, you name it. These people are most likely trying to trick you into sharing personal data, like your email account and password.
Such websites can contain keyloggers and viruses which can be a threat to your privacy and safety, so make sure to avoid the free offer scams!
Never Share Accounts with Anyone
If something sounds too good to be true, it probably is. If someone offers you an account, they might actually be looking for a way to gain access to your account.
You should never allow anyone else to access your account for any reason. Once someone has access to your account, it can be difficult to get rid of them for good. Sharing accounts is against our Terms of Service and could result in your accounts receiving a suspension or permanent ban. For more on unacceptable behavior, see here. Find out more about shared accounts here.
Don’t Share Details About Yourself or Your Account in Chat
Sharing Personally Identifiable Information (PII) puts your privacy and account security at risk. Questions may seem innocent, such as ‘What devices are you guys playing with?’, ‘Anyone from the US here?’, ‘What's your hometown?’ and so on. However, your answers might then be used to seek you out in the real world or try to impersonate you to gain access to your accounts.
Don't Share Your Supercell ID Login Codes With Anyone—Not Even ‘Support’
It is common for scammers to impersonate Supercell Support and contact players out of the blue. They might claim that Supercell has noticed suspicious activity on your account and needs to verify who you are. We never contact you unexpectedly or ask you for your Supercell ID login codes. Only give verification codes to Support during conversations you have initiated via the in-game Help and Support section.
Don't Try To Recover Your Friend's Account For Them
Attempting to recover other players’ accounts through Support is considered phishing. We have no way to verify whether your friend has asked for your help or not. Please ask your friend to contact Support directly.
If You Suspect Suspicious Activity On Your Account, Contact Support
If you think someone else has access to your account, our Support team can do their best to help you get it back. You can find detailed information on how to deal with this situation here.
