A Player ID is a form of unique identification for Supercell ID. It is mainly used to:
Add in-game friends
Help Support locate a lost account.
Your Player ID will be chosen for you based on your in-game name. For example, if your in-game name is ‘Barbarian’, your given Player ID could be ‘BraveBarbarian’.
If the ID we’ve chosen doesn't suit your style, you can claim a Player ID from our website here.
Or, you can change it to something you prefer via your Supercell ID profile, but keep in mind that you can only change your Player ID once. Your chosen Player ID name must be unique and cannot already be claimed by another player.
To change your Player ID in-game:
Open the game’s Settings.
Open the Supercell ID menu.
Tap the cogwheel to access your account settings.
Tap ‘Change’ next to your Player ID.
Please keep in mind that you can only change your Player ID once, and your name must not already be claimed by another player.
You can find your Player ID from both inside and outside your game account.
Inside the Game
The Player ID can be found inside the game through your Player Profile:
Tap the Profile button in the top left corner of your game screen.
View your Player ID next to your profile icon.
Outside the Game
If you lost access to your game account, and you need the Player ID for the recovery process, there are some ways to find it from outside the account:
If you have only one account:
Ask an in-game friend for help. They can check your profile and send you the Player ID of your lost account.
If you have another account that you play with:
Check your Friends list: if you have added the lost account to your current account’s ‘Friends’ list, it’s possible to find it there.
Knowing your Player ID will be very helpful for getting you connected with your lost account but it won't be enough on its own!
Player IDs are moderated and cannot be political or offensive and can’t contain personal identifiable information, hate speech, or bullying. You can report Player IDs if they violate our content policy. Player IDs deemed inappropriate will be reset to an automatically generated one.
